Clubs & Activities
Our aim at Dorchester is to help children develop their full potential through positive, social, emotional, physical and intellectual experience. We believe passionately that education is by no means limited to taking place in the classroom, and our clubs offer your child a safe, stimulating place in which to play or take part in an increasingly diverse range of activities and crafts.
We also encourage parents and carers to participate in the planning of any suggested after school schemes which may benefit our pupils and community.
Currently, we have the following clubs taking place:
Art Club
Basketball Club
Chess Club
Choirs (Year R-2 and Years 3-6)
Computer Coding
Drama Club
Eco-Club
Football Clubs (Boys and Girls squad and football for all)
Gymnastics Club
Musical Theatre
Netball Clubs (Year 3/4 Club and Year 5/6 Club)
Playball (ball skills)
Recorder Club
Streetdance Club
Tag Rugby Club
Yoga
The range of clubs offered changes each term as the seasons differ - in summer we offer cricket and athletics clubs - and so, throughout the year, we are able to cover a wide range of activities and sports - hopefully something for everyone!
