Year 6 - Decade Day

Year 6 celebrated the end of our History topic about Britain since World War Two, with Decades Day. Children were encouraged to dress up in the style of fashion from one decade. We had children from the 1950s, 1960, 1970s etc but by far the most popular decade, proved to be the 1980s. Throughout the day, the children learnt about major events from each decade, as well as listening to music and even trying some dance moves from the different time periods too!

They found about about how Music and Technology have altered over this time and how Britain is the country that it is today.
