Micro, Mini and Junior Duke Winner's Galas

On Monday and Wednesday we celebrated with all our Duke's form this year who were able to complete 7 out of 10 of the Duke challenges in their booklets. Our Micro Dukes were so proud of their achievements over the year, especially the speed-dressing in clothes that were inside out I hear! Adults, we know this requires a huge drive from you mainly too, especially with our Reception lot, so thank you endlessly! You have created even more marvellous opportunities for your amazing children. 

Our Minis and Juniors spoke of their challenges faced with baking, tyre fixing, papier mache, eco initiatives and many more. It was so wonderful for all children who were successful in completing their challenges over the year to get together and share in each other's successes also.

Essential reminder to all! Even if you have not yet completed your 7/10 challenges, you may still continue to work on these over the Summer and on into the Autumn term, so please do not be disheartened if you did not quite make the gala this July - you can always complete your booklet right up to October half-term this year, then you can attend the Gala next July!

Thanks to all the adults who supported with their children's challenges at home, it really does help enormously and we cannot do this without you - and for the wonderful snack and drink donations, it made the events really special! Thanks to all the staff in school over the years for assessing challenges achieved, and for staff who helped out at the celebration Galas this week.
