Return of the Egg Raffle

At the FODS meeting this week, parents mentioned how much they used to enjoy the egg raffle.  The raffle gives your family the opportunity to win the fresh eggs our school chickens have laid during that week.

From Monday 26th February, you will find buckets (as shown above) at the Reception drop off area, Nursery drop off area, outside Year 4 classrooms and outside the Year 5/6 entrance.  Just put £1 in an envelope/wrapped in paper with the name of your child and their class.  We will announce the winners and ask winners to come and collect their eggs from the school office (unless you are very brave and trust your children with them!)  All money raised goes towards upkeep of our chickens and coop .

When your lucky week comes up, we would be very grateful if you could return the egg boxes to us for reuse.  Also, if you have any empty egg boxes you no longer need, we would be very grateful to have them at school.
