Last Friday, Buzz Club were lucky enough to have a live online session with Baroness Wilcox as part of Parliament's 'Learn with a Lord' programme. We heard all about her journey from a working class girl in Newport to a member of the House of Lords, via a life as a teacher and local councillor. The girls tried their best, and were most successful in the History and Maths rounds. Well done everyone - we'll get them next time! Thanks for all those who came along to watch and support, and to Mrs Collins for her training sessions she puts so much effort into.
Our team played really well today, and represented the school proudly. They won 2, lost 2 and equalised 1 - a fantastic effort overall, placing 4th in the end. Special mention to Macey who scored all four goals over all the matches! See the results below. Incredible effort everyone!
