This week, we have wrapped up (pun intended) our Ancient Egyptian topic by learning about mummification! Year 3 have written a non-chronological report on Howard Carter's discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb using sub-headings, past tense and third person. Year 4 have been writing sonnets about the colours of their own shadows based on our book. In Maths, Year 3 have moved onto their new topic fractions. They have been learning to make a whole. Whereas Year 4 have continued to learn about how to find the perimeter of a range of rectilinear shapes including problems with missing sides. In Art, we have been learning about how papyrus paper has been made and creating our own using similar techniques. Finally, we have learnt about how to remain safe on the Internet, as it was safer Internet day on Tuesday.
What should you do if someone on the Internet makes you feel uncomfortable?
