Year 1

This week, we have been writing recounts of our dinosaur day in English. We wrote about what happened and how we felt about it. In Maths, we have been learning our number bonds to 10 and how to write number sentences using the correct symbols. We tasted different foods in Science to explore our sense of taste. We also learnt about our other senses and what they do for us. In History, we looked at where the dinosaurs lived and what they needed to survive. We talked about our talents in RE and thought about why we are grateful for them and glad that everyone's talents are different. We have also thoroughly enjoyed our Around the World day where we learnt all about Australia or The Netherlands.
