Reception: What was your favourite part of the story, 'Leaf'?

So the highlight of this week has to be Thursday - World Book Day! The children came in an array of colourful and imaginative costumes on the day. Reception went to our World Book Day assembly in the afternoon, and they sat beautifully throughout the whole event, listening to each year group's presentation. We had a fun week, reading Leaf by Sandra Dieckmann, and talked about why, sometimes, we are scared of what we do not know, but sometimes things that are new and unusual, are not scary at all.
