Borough Cross Country
This week the weather was extremely kind for the Year 4, 5 and 6 Cross Country competitions.
This is a team competition where our 4 highest placed runners’ scores contribute towards the final school placing but it is, more importantly, an individual challenge for all those taking part and finishing the race in a position that is your own personal best is what is really key here.
There is always a huge field of runners and so being part of this is a brilliant experience and one that should really boost the children’s confidence for having taken part and completed it. Our teams represented Dorchester really well and all the runners should be really proud of their personal achievements.
A special shout out to Joshua who came 7th in the Year 4 boys’ race – a fantastic run and definitely one to watch for the future – very well done Joshua!
