Year 5 and 6 Sports Day Success
What a wonderful morning we had at Year 5 and 6 Sports Day today.
Despite changeable weather - luckily the rain passed quickly and the sunshine joined us - the children enthusiastically threw, hurdled and ran through their events. It was lovely to see so much support and encouragement for peers too - a great demonstration of our value of Togetherness. Self Belief and Perseverance were plentiful too as the children showed grit and determination to perform at their very best. Well done to the parents who set a great example to their children by participating in the mums and dads races. Thank you to everyone who came along.
The event was won by a small margin by Attenborough House.
