Year 4 - What caused the Battle of Troy?

Year 4 have fully grasped the reasons behind the reasons why the Trojans and the Greeks went to war, and it all comes down to the love of a woman! They are getting passionate about life in Sparta and Athens as they prepare to write a discussion text in English next week. Some think that equality in the way boys and girls were treated is outweighed by living in a democracy. Only time will tell which they will decide. We are in the full throes of rehearsals for "Troy Story", which we are excited about presenting to the whole and parents during the last week of term.
