The Oasis

The Oasis is our specialist provision for children with additional learning needs; it is structured to enable each child to achieve excellence regardless of their starting point.

Together we learn about our emotions, develop strategies for self-regulation and are encouraged in developing our language so that we can express how we feel and what we need.

The daily routine includes Phonics, English, Maths, Sensory Circuits, Speech and Language, Social Skills, activities to promote gross and fine motor skills and actives to promote achievement and understanding in the other curriculum subjects.

Our Classroom is split into two key groups (Aqua - Years 1-3 and Palm - Years 4-5).  Sometimes we work in our smaller groups and sometimes we work together as one class.
