Year 4 Who was Amy Johnson?

This week we have had a great time learning all about Amy Johnson, her plane 'Jason' and their first solo flight to Australia. We have found out about what inspired her to fly solo across the world, researched the significant parts of her work and life story, and made models of her Gipsy Moth plane 'Jason'.
