Year 4 - Where is Australia?

Welcome back to Year 4! This week we have started our new learning topics of Australia and Sound.In science we have been thinking about how sound is made and how it travels. Talking of travelling, in Geography we have learnt where in the world we find Australia, using a wide range of geographical language to describe its location. We are looking forward to having a visit from Amy Johnson - the first woman to fly solo from the UK to Australia. Keep watch for more details on our exciting day with her next week!
