Nursery: How can we work as a team?

This week in Nursery the children were delighted when we received some new bikes to develop our gross motor skills. The teamwork bike has been lots of fun and the children have had to work together to manoeuvre around the outside area. We have discovered that you can only use this bike if you find two friends to help you.  We have also been reading the story ‘The 10 Little Pirates’. In this story the 10 Little Pirates go on an adventure but they disappear one by one. One is swept off in a hurricane, one is caught in a big wave and one goes to visit a mermaid. The children have been practising counting forwards and backwards from 10. We have been making our own pirate props and we have had lots of fun making boats. We have been using these to explore floating and sinking.
