Nursery: What could be in the egg?

It has been a very busy first week back in Nursery.  On Thursday, we arrived to find a nest in one of our tuff trays and some giant eggs that had been laid. The children have all been using their mark making skills to make posters so that everyone knows that we cannot touch them. The children have also been predicting what could be inside. Some children think that it could be a chick or a dinosaur because they come out of eggs. We were very impressed that Victor knew that it could be a platypus because they also come from eggs! One child thought that it could be an elephant egg because it was too big to be a chick. However, we found out that elephants do not come from eggs.
