Year 4 - Which is your favourite William Morris design?

Inspiration for our art work this week has come from William Morris. We have looked at his patterns and prints as well as his life. Did you know that William Morris lived and worked locally in Wimbledon?We will be using this inspiration to create our own batik printed fabric.  Look out for the results of this work. We have also been thinking about why people settle next to the coast. We looked at a number of different coastal regions around the UK and decided that our favourite places to go are beaches with tourist attractions such as arcades, funfairs and even looking for fossils. Where is your favourite place on the coast? Hopefully the sun will shine and we can visit these places very soon.
