World Day of Social Justice

Eco Club this week fell on UN World Day of Social Justice, 20th February. We discussed how, across the world, there are inequalities with regards to how well the world can adjust to the climate crisis and how the Western World has an obligation to help aid and fund poorer countries transitioning into a greener future. We discussed how the UN unites the world to combat important humanitarian issues and how the future of the planet is in all our hands.

The children enjoyed talking about how they want to help and were keen to see positive changes not only in our country but in other countries across the globe too. I was very impressed with the maturity of their questions and how caring they all are. Well done Eco Club.
