Netball vs AS Benhilton
Lost 8-6
After a slow start to this match from us where passes weren’t being linked together successfully and our defending was a bit loose Dorchester launched a real fight back. The second half of the match saw us much more in contention and our confidence built, resulting in more controlled play where we looked after the ball much better.
In the final quarter our momentum was excellent and we dominated winning that quarter 3-1. Sadly this wasn’t enough to win us the game overall but showed a real determination and fighting spirit that will stand us in good stead for our future games.

A Team Lost 6-5
B Team Won 6-0
Mixed fortunes away at Avenue on Thursday but two very nice games against lovely opposition.
The A team game was end to end and both teams had more chances to score. The result could easily have gone either way and we just ran out of time in the end to even the score. Another sound performance from Dorchester and we will look at getting out of the blocks more effectively in our games in the new year.
The B Team win was an excellent team effort with every player making their mark in the game and playing an important role. They defended well, turning the ball over numerous times, and our attack moved the ball carefully to feed the circle where Lily and Scarlett did a great job shooting and collecting rebounds. Two wins from two now – well done everyone!
