Year 1

This week, we have been writing sentences about our new book called 'Dinosaurs love underpants'. We tried to retell parts of the story and focused on using our sounds to help us spell words. In Maths, we have been revising everything that we have learnt this half term and answered quiz questions using our knowledge. We have learnt about dinosaur diets and how palaeontologists have managed to work out what dinosaurs ate millions of years ago. In Science, we have been using our own criteria such as noisy, quiet, big or small to help us sort a range of different animals. In PSHE we have talked about privacy and why it is important to keep some parts of our bodies for ourselves.
