Who Are You?

This week in Nursery we have been reading the story 'Who are You?' by Smriti Halls and Ali Pye. This book asks lots of questions to help the children to think about who they are, what they look like, what they like and who is in their family. The children have enjoyed talking about themselves and finding out about their new friends. We have used loose parts for the children to recreate their faces and we have been learning describing words to talk about what they can see when they look in the mirror. The children have also used small world people and placed them into photo frames to make representations of their families. For maths the children have been gaining confidence when sorting objects to different criteria.
