Year 5/6 Multi-Sports Festival
We had a great morning of sport on Monday at Purley Sports Club!
The children rotated around four activities: tennis, squash, hockey and cricket with specialist coaches. It was a real treat to be able to use the lovely facilities they have at Purley and the children were all able to get involved in lots of fun games that involved using some of the basic skills specific to each sport. It was particularly exciting to be able to get the children onto the squash courts, which was the first experience of this for most of the children there and turned out to be the favourite activity for lots of them! We hope that this may encourage them to get involved out of school too going forward.
The children represented us beautifully; they were engaged and enthusiastic throughout and their listening skills and manners were exemplary. They were an absolute pleasure to take out of school. Very well done to Isla, Sahir, Salmana, Esmee, Harshith, Hamza, Hei, Hailey, Cecilia and Hanisk.
