What did your Mr Man and Little Miss child look like?

In Science this week, we have begun our topic of Evolution and Inheritance, with the Mr Men and Little Misses! By considering the inherited genes from each parent character, the children had to create an image of the offspring from Mr Bump and Little Miss Sporty, for example! They had great fun both creating the offspring and identifying who the parents were! Our Maths focus has been on place value, ordering and comparing numbers up to 10,000,000 and negative numbers and the children have worked hard at exploring various challenges. In English, we have begun our very first Star Write of the year and the children are working hard to include all the key features we have been practising, such as subordinate clauses, expanded noun phrases, speech and 'show not tell' techniques. We will be continuing with this into enxt week as well and are looking forward to the end results.
