Year 3/4 news 10.06.22

This week, we have begun our new topic of 'Ancient Greece' and we have even been learning about it in English! We have looked at Greek Myths and the monsters that are in them. As a class, we decided what makes the perfect mythological creature and then designed our own. We gave them an appropriate name, special abilities and an origin story. In Science, we researched some inventors that were involved in the production of the lightbulb and created some fact files about them. As part of our Ancient Greece topic, we learned about the geography of Greece including human and physical features; surrounding islands and tourism. In PSHE, we learned about road safety and how to keep ourselves safe when out and about. For our next Computing topic, we explored a Scratch program to find out how it used loops to work most efficiently.
